USS Carney (DDG 64)

USS Carney (DDG-64) is the 14th Arleigh Burke-class destroyer in the United States Navy. The ship is the first to be named after Admiral Robert Carney who served as Chief of Naval Operations during the Eisenhower administration. USS Carney was laid down 3 August 1993 at Bath Iron Works in Bath, Maine, and launched 23 July 1994. She has a speed of >30 knots (56 km/h; 35 mph) and a range of 4,400 nautical miles at 20 knots (8,100 km at 37 km/h).
