German Military

The German military comprising the traditional three services of army, navy and air force, has had different names at different times: Reichsheer (1871–1919) and Kaiserliche Marine (1871-1919); Reichswehr (1919-1935); Wehrmacht (1935-1945); Bundeswehr (1955 to present).
